This coming Tuesday, Barack Obama will be inaugurated as the 44th President of the United States, and before that historic occasion my congregation and I will complete our first message series of the new year: Letters to the Next President. I remain indebted to Andy Stanley of Northpoint Church for the concept, and I hope that my treatment of these themes has allowed my church to reflect meaningfully on spiritual issues that confront our next leader…and that confront us.
