Because I need to attend to some work and family responsibilities, I won’t be able to post a devotional thought today or tomorrow. However, for all 4 of my regular readers (an increase of at least 50%), I offer one of my favorite passages and a brief reflection.
The passage:
From there Elisha went up to Bethel. As he was walking along the road, some boys came out of the town and jeered at him. “Get out of here, baldy!” they said. “Get out of here, baldy!” He turned around, looked at them and called down a curse on them in the name of the LORD. Then two bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the boys. (2 Kings 2:23-24)
The reflection:
Don’t taunt the prophets.
Watch out for bears.
Beyond this, I have no pastoral advice.
Thanks for the wise words ad have a good couple of work days!
